Despite long wait due to too many customers, their service is excellent
I needed a new battery. The battery was a good price, but could not order online. It suggested I call to check if it was in stock. After an hour of the phone just ringing I gave up.
Sitting in the Montclair Costco tire center for three hours so far. It’s probably going to be a total of four hours to get tires replaced. I was told it would take an hour maybe an hour and a half to install tires I had to order online last week. This isn’t how I have had tires replaced before. DO NOT GET YOUR TIRES REPLACED HERE. You just do not have to put up with this bad service. There are many other tire companies that have comparable prices with much better service
Wait for 2 hours and tell me I am walk in and I have to wait for 30 more minutes. I am at the top of the appointment and they just ignore it. Ridiculous and waste of time
Shoutout to Mark, who despite being surrounded by rude peers maintains his integrity and professionalism. This tire center is a glaring stain on the Costco brand. I experienced a flat tire which was at 80% tread life, with no visible punctures (a bit important to this review; I was a Costco certified tire technician for many years at a high volume location, which is to say I am very familiar with Costco's expectations, policies & procedures.)
