Tire Center Upsale Warning!! I have gone to Costco Tire center twice in a month for two different vehicles. Both times, they tried to up-sale me and was given a price of up to $200 more than the Firestone and Discount Tire down the road. For a company that you have to pay for a membership to use, they are overpricing their services and products in comparison to their competitors less than 3 miles down the road (Firestone is walking distance away BTW). This Costco and tire center team always do an excellent job, even during busy weekend. Tech are professional, and respectful throughout the process. I truly appreciate positive attitude despite the crazy weekend workload. Thumbs up to the entire crew and the supervisor.
Got a new set of 4 tires. Had to schedule appt after purchasing but they knocked it out in about 90 minutes when I came back. No Installation fees, fill with nitrogen instead of air, and 5 year road hazard warranty as a member. Looks like I'll be getting all my tires here from now on. 😊
Other than the absolutely chaos of Costco on a weekend, our transaction for 4 new tires was pretty straight forward. Extra perks for members too. Love that
