There hours work around any crazy schedule so my son who is a college student went there for a buzz cut... probably the easiest hair cut ever, and somehow they screwed that up. He had the lady trim up his beard and evem told her what size guard to use... she didn't listen and now he doesn't want to go to class
I can walk in without being nervous how to explanation my hair style and once she got the idea, it so much easier, I love going everytime. It's weird for being a guy but heck it's a great place to go. Always will be attending there for my haircut

Just moved here from outta state and was in a panic to find someone to cut my hair right, 1st try at another salon didn't go so well.... So came here and had Bree give it a whirl and I luv her! Just gained a loyal client�
This is my third trip into the Big Rapids Cost Cutters to try (and fail) to get my hair cut. Each time that I walk in there are two girls cutting hair, several people in the waiting chairs, and I was told to come back after 7:30 tonight. There are literally more than a half-dozen empty salon chairs and people waiting. Are there no hair stylist in Big Rapids? If there are and someone is deliberately understaffing the store then that person needs to be let go. This is three times that I walked in the store, this doesn't count ... read more

Thanks so much for your feedback. We apologize for you having to wait in our salon. We do have a call ahead program that would allow you to give the salon a call prior to coming in. That way your wait time would be very minimal when you arrive. Our goal is to staff the salon to meet guest needs unfortunately that does not always work out the way we plan it. In addition to the terrible haircut and terrible service, I was then promised a gift card...its been at least two weeks and I have yet to receive the gift card....definitely not going there again!!
