Our Special Place This is one of those places that my father and I have had since I was a child that has been "our place." We go there for those special father-daughter lunches and dinners, when we want to catch up with each other and just spend time together. We always get our respective traditional dishes, but every now and then we branch out. I have never had a bad meal there, nor bad service, or over-priced food or anything like that. Okay, so sometimes the tables are sticky, or there is some noise from a large crowd, an... read more

Cossetta's is Okay, but should do better. Cossetta's is convenient if one is downtown St.Paul. The food is okay, but pricey. It's worth the drive to go to John's Pizza up-on Como Ave. and Dale!! Cossetta has the seating and location for the ExCel Energy Center. Visit Cossetta's, but then check-out John's Pizza!!

Italian anyone? Cossetta's is nestled in the heart of downtown St Paul. For those of you hockey fans, you'll love the fact that it's just a skip away from the Excel center where the Minnesota Wild play. Cossetta's offers hearty Italian meals in a not-so-fast-food-but-still-fast setting, along with your own possible concoctive materials. PROS: location, meal selection, tastes fabulous CONS: price, line length

Standard food in a crowd The food here is nothing special, the pizza and pasta have nothing extraordinary to offer. The food is served cafeteria style, and it can be a pain to wait in a long line. For what they offer the food is pricey.

Good but a bit overated It's good food. But this is just more americanized Italian food. Not the real thing. But hey, that's why I buy at the deli and make my own REAL Italian.

Great pizza and fun environment There are so many things to say about Cossetta's. First of all they have the best pizza ever. The restaurant is in a two story building and they feature a buffet style line up. The lines are sometimes rather long, but it is definitely worth the wait. You can choose from a wide variety of Italian dishes from a huge piece of pizza to lasagna. The atmosphere is really fun and upbeat with great Italian music playing around you. The price is right and the food is terrific!

Cosetta's, not just a restaurant... Another one of those restaurants you never forget. It is a two story restaurant, with wonderful art and architecture throughout. It hasn't changed in years. There's so much to say about it... The pizza is FANTASTIC, the other entrees are just as delicious. They also have a desert selection line, and a deli! I love sitting upstairs, so I can look over the railing and watch the chefs toss the circles of dough around and drizzle sauce and cheese and meat over the top. This is the kind of rest... read more

Truly Amazing! I was just down there doing some shopping in the Market and they have the most dazzling display of Deruta ceramics. This stuff is hard to find and very unique. It looks more like a museum than Italian Market. Got some Italian Sausage and Bread for dinner tonight. I can't wait. It's not too busy right now (4pm), even with the Wild game starting in a couple hours. Maybe I hit it at the right time. Always good to see Nancy behind the counter.

The best pizza! Cossetta's is a fabulous place! It is located on west 7th street in St Paul. It is a locally owned restaurant and deli. Their pizza is sold by the slice and is a great deal. It is big and it is delicious! They also offer pastas and salads, but for me those are a bit pricey (compared to the pizza). I highly recommend this place! It does get very busy at lunch time, and parking is kind of a pain. BUT it is worth it completely! PROS: food, atmosphere, price CONS: parking
