I was thrilled the Corvallis Birth and Women’s Heath Center was opened just as my husband and I were planning on adding a third baby to our family. From the initial well-woman exam, through a complicated miscarriage and finally the pregnancy and birth of my youngest daughter I received nothing but the kindest, most supportive care from all of the center staff. I feel very lucky to live in a community that offers such an amazing birth center, and only have positive things to say about it! Susan and the rest of the midwives at the center are great… they’re passionate, knowledgeable, caring, experienced, and evidence-based. My experience during my pregnancy and the birth were particularly special due to the midwives at the birth center. I felt completely supported, safe and at peace. I never experienced them as perceiving my age ( I am an older mother) as a problem and trusted them to hello create a perfect birthing experience. I am filled with gratitude for everything they provided my family. My only wish is that they could follow our little one through the pediatric years.
Such an amazing birth experience. Fully supported by the amazing midwifes! I’m so grateful the birth center is now an option for women wanting this type of birth.
