Susan and the team of midwives at the Birth Center helped us conceive both of our babies, supported us through a miscarriage, and the pregnancy and birth of our rainbow baby. She's 1 now and still gets her check ups there! Our birth instructor once said, "People search their whole lives for the love that is so freely given here." I really cannot describe it any better. The most amazing people amd best birthing experience by far. Nothing rushed not one appt never had to track anyone down always attentive amd always everything safe but on my own terms. This was baby number 6 and first at birthing center wish i had done it sooner!!
Gentle and professional care for women of all ages. Calm, knowledgeable guidance during labor and birth in a honey atmosphere. Supportive of family members and second birth support. Certainly worth checking out for the birth of your baby and for your women's health care. The center also offers the option of water birth.
These ladies are like angels in that they are there with you absolutely every step of the way. I was referred from a friend, and it was the beast choice of my pregnancy. Lots of love to Susan and her crew 😘 you are forever in my heart 💜
Having my baby here was a fantastic experience, and having post-natal home visits was so very helpful. I, too, miss seeing seeing the midwives on a regular basis. I appreciated that they got to know me and my family, and took lots of time during appointments to chat. Actually delivering my baby at the birth center was about as pleasant as pushing 9.5 lbs of baby out of my body could be, and afterwards they cooked us tasty food, checked us a couple times, then let us sleep undisturbed! I transferred care to the Corvallis Birth and Women's Health Center about half way through my pregnancy--and am SO THANKFUL we did. We had great care from Susan and Angie-the prenatal visits were very informative and they both answered the numerous questions I had about becoming a new mama, what to expect, etc. When my husband and I talked about changing my care (to the birth center), he was rather hesitant. This birth center deserves far more than five stars. From the moment I took the pregnancy test and made that frantic phone call, through the months of prenatal care, to the amazing day our baby girl was born, these midwives walked by our sides and guided us through this terrifying and life-changing chapter.
