Cornerstone was incredibly accommodating after getting me in. I did have to wait a day longer than I would have like to begin my stay, but once in they were fantastic. MY case was somewhat unique, paying cash, I was there only for a five day detox, even though I had severe symptoms of alcohol dependence. However, I was highly motivated and they worked with me to manage my withdrawal symptoms and then manage my tapering off of the withdrawal medications so that I could discharge after five days. Although I don't agree with everything they do I can say when your truly ready this place can and did save my life. If your not ready and you have to pay out of pocket I would just wait for a free government detox. Again if u know your ready and trust me you will know this is by far the best place to go.
I attended Cornerstone in the summer of 2011. I was in bad shape, coming from Hoag in Newport Beach, transferred to College Hospital, then finally Cornerstone. I was an angry 19 year old and still somewhat not completely willing to be clean. After my first bumpy week, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel and I still thank my mother to this day for sending me to Cornerstone.
