The facility and all of its staff are fantastic. Everyone is caring and compassionate and the horses get the best care while keeping owners well informed and as calm as possible. Dr. Ortved, Dr. Hurcombe, Dr. Beste and Dr. Chapman all treated Cody so well with both colics this winter. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.
This clinic is a blessing to all horse owners on Long Island! It is staffed with the best of the best doctors from Cornell. My horse had arthroscopic surgery to remove infected scar tissue from the bursar of the C1/C2. Dr. Ducharme and Dr. Nixon are the best in the country doing this new surgery on horses. And I can't say enough about Dr. Kyla Ortved who orchestrated my horse's care there and kept me informed every step of the way. She is brilliant and compassionate!
Not only chock full of experts, friendly as can be.
I've taken a few horses over. Very happy with the job they do and the care of the horse I had stay for a few days.
I have not been to this clinic or had a horse there, but I can honestly tell you the practice gained a real gem when they hired Dr. Hurcombe. I am happy for him in his new endeavor, but mostly I'm happy he had my horse at OSU. I hope I'll never need him again!
