This was our best meal in Ames on this trip. The half rack of ribs made us wish we had ordered the full rack. The brisket was smoky and tender. The candied bacon was outstanding. Our kids ordered the huge cinnamon roll and it was outstanding. We may try to come back for dinner before we leave for home. 10/10 will have this again
Super history stop. Mainline train runs very close by. McKenna was very patient with us and gave us excellent service. We had the mustard fried smash burger and apple baked beans. Totally out of this world.
Food was great. Server was pleasant. Atmosphere was enjoyable until a 5 minute train passed by. Would highly recommend trying this place
I don't if I've had a better rib in my life. The brisket was on point, tender and juicy. Their sauces were really good, too. Oh, don't go there and not order the hallelujah potatoes. They were freaking delicious.
