I am so happy to share that our son's pilonidal cyst is now completely healed and that Dr. Iqbal's technique of using trephination (also known as the Gip's procedure) was minimally invasive and SO much easier to heal from compared to a larger surgical incision approach the other surgeons would have used for this problem. He was even able to complete this procedure in his office using local anesthesia which saved us significant expense. When you need a pediatric surgeon you want the best for your child. You want to get in and be seen timely and not have to wait for surgery for a month or longer like other local ped hospitals. His nurses and office staff are very kind, and responsive. Dr. Iqbal is honest, caring, and a very skilled surgeon. As a parent and a clinician I highly recommend Dr. Iqbal.
