For the Lab—-Go up to the second floor. No signs to the LAB it’s on the east side of the building -Suite 214 for blood draw 🩸 or other lab work. Radiology is downstairs. I had no wait, which was great.
Extremely understaffed. A 2 hour wait with 4 people in front of you.
I’ve been to a few different Beaumont labs and for some reason this one is always horribly slow. It doesn’t matter what day or time of day you come, it’s always packed and they move at a snails pace. To make things worse, the ladies at the front are usually in a bad mood and are snippy when you ask if they know about how long the wait will be. The other labs in the area (Macomb or Troy) have been a much better experience.
Over the last 15 months I have had to return for re-draws many times and am told it’s because the blood hadn’t been drawn for everything ordered. And they don’t alert me that there are missing vials, I have to call the main lab telephone and ask why results aren’t showing. My take away: ALWAYS check your MyChart and stay diligent to getting the results your physician needs OR stop going to this Rochester location.
Fantastic lab!!! Every single time I come for a blood draw, I have a fantastic experience. Every single time!!! And I am a difficult poke. I have been poked elsewhere up to 7 times! Today, I did not even feel the pic. And I couldn't believe how quickly Andrea got 2 vials out of me. I don't always get Andrea, but I have NEVER had a bad experience here, and I have been coming for years. Thank you so much! I ❤️ you guys.
