Horrible property management company. The building I live in went without a manager or emergency maintenance for months with no word from Core Living. The building has had emergency alarms go off for hours and has flooded numerous times. I have reached out to corporate multiple times and have either not gotten a response or gotten a “it is what it is” type response.

Absolutely terrible job being done with their Maxwell Lofts property in Milwaukee. Not sure if they were unprepared to move into a distant market, but corners were cut left and right in this apartment building. Invest in some noise cancelling headphones because that is the only way to enjoy a TV show or movie with their paper thin walls and ceilings. Core Living cites COVID as a reason to ban all visitor access, yet refuses to allow COVID circumstances as a valid reason to allow any flexibility in terminating a lease early.
Core Living is THE worst property management company I have ever worked with! Since they took over management of my former apartment complex, The Landing in Ames, Iowa, Nov. 2017, the property went straight downhill. I had zero issues with the original property managers, but Core Living (formerly Bison Management Team) is absolutely horrible. They recently took over our building maintenance management and responded to our phone call with a snippy response after the ambulance and fire truck arrived and we didn't know what was going on.... We found out our broiler back-flowed from neighbours. All we wanted to know wad what was going on and they were jerks . It's -2° and we don't have heat. #apartmentshopsucks
