HORRIBLE AND OVERPRICED! Had Kristen for a year and a half and still not even visitation set up for my son. Did not fight for me at all. I felt like she was on the mother's side. Paid $6000 still nothing set. Two week notice she wanted another $5000 and felt like she hadn't gotten anything done!!!!! Could have gotten a much cheaper lawyer with better results or at least some results.
Worst mistake of my life! They gave me a rookie attorney who didn't know the procedures of my county. Costing me thousands extra a month. Stay away from this franchise and get a local attorney!
Avoid this firm, you can do better.
Avoid unless you enjoy wasting your money. Claim to specialize in helping men with divorce. They did nothing but way overcharge me. I negotiated the settlement and my wife’s attorney did all of the work. Super slow and disinterested. 20K for two phone calls and a few emails/texts. Criminal.
I recently went through a difficult divorce and went to Cordell and Cordell in Columbus, Ohio and had the pleasure of working with Cathy Screngi, Litigation Manager. I hired this firm to represent me in a case with clear documentation and evidence supporting the simple filing of a motion. The representative was given all the necessary information and supporting documentation. After failing to complete requested task, charging me to draft the motion and other fees for "communication" e.g., email and phone calls, the attorney declined to represent me. i believe they are crooks that just bill you until you cant pay anymore then you have to settle for what ever is offered. i asked to see my lawyers billed time for when we were sitting on zoom they say they cant give that to me it is confidential i got billed for that time it is not going to a third party. i would just like to make sure that when i was paying her that she was not working on other cases. but the just give me the run around . in my opinion the name should be crook and crook and dont buy into that lawyers for m... read more
This Joe Cordell sounds like the motel 6 guy. Rather than 'we will leave the light on for you, we will leave the cash register running to get all of the money we can from you.' Bogus bunch of theives! Almost all women attorneys, bill you for everything. Find someone else to represent you. These guys are crooks.
