If I could give them less than one star I would. This firm is deceptive and greedy. They do not have your best interest at hand. The billing explanation was misleading- I didn't realize I would be charged just for receiving basic paperwork from the firm( these were basic documents that they just changed my name on). They love to take your money but the attorneys dont want to return a simple phone call. They say they support men but I haven’t seen anything yet. My adu, find another attorney.

I am the full time father of three going through a divorce. We moved to Oregon from Idaho. Idaho ruled that Oregon had jurisdiction for the divorce. My ex appealed that decision and I retained this firm. They were very hard to keep in contact with and i seemed to have to suggest things to file and how to fight the appeal so that they knew what direction to take. Avoid using Cordell and Cordell at all costs. Their incompetence as to proper procedures and processes added months of time and thousands of dollars and they still got it wrong in the end. To top it off they then compared our child custody issue to a criminal car salesman…. Look up their complaints on BBB I wish I had before flushing money down this toilet of a practice.

STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN. I wish I could not select any stars as I am that unhappy with the false advertising Cordell & Cordell use. My son was searching for legal counsel to help him finally deal with his ex-wife related to the visitation with his children and to get his ex to work with him as far as better communication on topics related to the children. 🫤. Actually no stars. Too bad I had to put even one. Waste of time and money to use this firm. Don’t waste either.. It has been a completely lousy experience for the last 3 years of my life. Ultra charges for every little thing. I am being charged $320.00 per hour. Most of it is for nothing. Every single email or call charged at that rate. I highly recommend you move on. Do not use this law firm. $70,000 before I was done. I was originally told $2,500 for my divorce. Stay away!! Don’t end up like me.

Avoid unless you enjoy wasting your money. Claim to specialize in helping men with divorce. They did nothing but way overcharge me. I negotiated the settlement and my wife’s attorney did all of the work. Super slow and disinterested. 20K for two phone calls and a few emails/texts. Criminal.

This Joe Cordell sounds like the motel 6 guy. Rather than 'we will leave the light on for you, we will leave the cash register running to get all of the money we can from you.' Bogus bunch of theives! Almost all women attorneys, bill you for everything. Find someone else to represent you. These guys are crooks.
