We visited on a busy Saturday evening. When we first entered it was confusing on where to go due to the entire tasting area being crowded. After getting a spot at the main tasting bar, we enjoyed our wine samples. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. We then went to the main bar, shared a bottle of wine and had lots of laughs with the bartenders. It was a great evening. Will have to go again!
A rare CH let down. Family birthday dinner, service was slow. Server brought a dirty glass wine glass to the table, seemed annoyed. One meal was cold while a steak ordered medium was charred, server seemed annoyed. Server brought a birthday plate to our birthday girl but offered no one else at the table desert or coffee, seemed annoyed. Hmmm, I think I found the problem.

The food and wine were 2nd to none but the service we received was horrible!! Waited over 19 minutes just to give our credit card to the waiter! Drinks didn't get refilled. We would have spent more to try other wines but didn't get the chance.

A great place to go when you live in Kansas City but want to escape a bit for some relaxation, good food and excellent wine. Try the red blends, as they are all nicely unique in flavor and smooth in taste. And, do NOT forget to order the calamari for an appetizer. Best in the city! Went here with my husband and two friends. We had the best time! The service was wonderful, the staff was friendly, and the food was very delicious. Before dinner we did the wine tasting and that was a great time as well. Definitely recommend going here! Thanks for a wonderful evening.
