After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. No reservations so we sat on the bar. Great setup! The kitchen was struggling that day but the wait staff & manager made up for it quite nicely. Recommend the potstickers and chicken madeira!
This is stretching it. Service was awful. Took forever to get drinks. My husband waited extra long for his because the server forgot it when asked about it. Got the salads and then waited for at least 45 minutes while others around us were served and pampered (they came in after us). It was a birthday celebration for two in our party but nothing was ever mentioned or offered as celebratory for them. Great food, great atmosphere. EVEN a GREAT gluten free menu.
It was freezing. I realize it was warm out but yiu could have hung meat at the tables.
