After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. What an awesome experience. The hosts were wonderful and the wines were excellent!!!
Had the pretzel crusted pork, amazing, and then couldn't resist a banana-toffee-something for desert. It was wonderful!
The food was amazing and the easy to read menu made wine pairing a breeze. We didn't have reservations so my husband and I ended up sitting at the bar, not wanting to wait the 2+ hours for a table for two. The bar section was borderline obnoxiously loud and it was so cold that we literally asked the bartender if they had extra jackets or blankets (anything to keep warm).
