After four years of planning and construction, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. That Shrimp Risotto is Everything! The service was smashing..
We visited because of a friend’s recommendation and it was all she said and more! The waiter was so attentive and happily recommended his favorite menu options. We tried the pork belly tostada, filet medallion surf n turf with Mexican shrimp and shrimp and scallops risotto. All pure perfection! We also brought our 4 year old and it was a very kid friendly place all while feeling like a date night. We WILL be back! We made reservations and had not wait times.
I love this place! The food and service is excellent, and the wine selection is amazing. One of the best restaurants in KC...certainly in my top 5!
Wanted to do wine tasting so I could find a wine I liked but the service was very unorganized and not enough servers for the amount of people. We didn’t get to do the wine tasting and not sure if we will go back. Very disappointed after hearing such good things about this place. I drove an hour to get there even.
