Even though a female assistant was always present, we became uncomfortable with Dr. Jeff Cooper’s interaction with our pre-teen daughter. His behavior was beyond unprofessional on two separate visits. We have since changed to another pediatrician and are very glad we did. We would not recommend Dr. Cooper to anyone.
Dr. Cooper's favorite diagnosis is to agree with whatever the parent(s) believe to be the problem. His common answers include "it could be this" or "it might be that". While his support staff used to be very competent, that is no longer the case. We have experienced much miscommunication between the doctor and his staff, often getting conflicting guidance. This places the child(ren) at risk.
I was very disappointed. My son was a patient there from the time he was a newborn until he was about 1 1/2. The only time we saw a doctor at this office was when we were trying to find a pediatrician and visited during the special hours they have for that. Every other visit after that was with a nurse practitioner even though we were charged the regular visit fee, which is quite high. We were very unhappy with the service there.
