Cooper Lake has worked on my car, my husband's truck and most recently his son's car. Each time Cooper Lake has repaired the vehicles in a timely fashion, kept us updated on costs, issues, and the status of the repair. The staff is courteous and professional. Any problems found after an oil change or repair has been corrected immediately. They are honest and if they are unable to perform a repair, such as a transmission, they referred us to a transmission shop they knew and trusted. I was pleased with the work and care Cooper Lake Automotive put into my car. They kept me in the loop regarding an issue with my air conditioning system, including the time and cost it would take for the repairs. The repairs took a little longer than I had expected (almost a full week), but the price they gave me was much better than what was quoted to me at a different shop.

I have used Cooper Lake in the past for mine and my wife's personal vehicles. The staff is courteous and honest. They keep you well informed of what is going on with your vehicle. They do not try to up sell unnecessary services like most chain service centers do. Most recently I had the AC fail on my company car. The dealership that usually services my company's vehicles wanted a fortune to fix it. MikeMan = obviously confused – While MikeMan may be on a tear giving Cooper Lake a bad review anywhere he can write one, I had a completely different experience. I think perhaps he misunderstood their advice when it came to transmission issues, because I had a similar issue. I came to this shop a week or two ago for a strange noise. After looking at it, they told me that it was a noise from my transmission suggesting that there was internal damage. CAUTION – They tried to sucker me into thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs and their online ratings are misleading as they offer customers discounts for leaving 5 star reviews (as stated by a sign on their front desk) effectively drowning out the bad reviews, read on for more info. Great Repair Experience – I haven't needed a mechanic in several years, but needed one last week as I was stuck on the side of Spring Road. I was referred to CLA, and thought, "here we go". I was prepping myself to be gouged like all of my other auto shop experiences. Once I was there, I pleasantly surprised at how nice, helpful and reasonable the team there turned out. I will definitely be referring them from now on, they are awesome! Many thanks to the team there again
