Disappointing Doctor I am very dissatisfied with my visits to Dr. Cooper's office and am no longer a patient. First I had to wait a month to get a referral for an MRI. Her staff blamed the insurance, but they did not do their work. Her staff did not follow up with insurance until I made numerous inquiries. Horror of all horrors, Dr. Cooper prescribed, an expensive eye medication, tiny bottle , $120. for me, and I do not even have an eye infection. Turns out I was allergic to the medicine. Would Not Recommend! My son had a blocked tear duct, and she prescribed Tobrex, he would cry terribly whenever I put the drops into his eye. I called her office and she insisted that I continue putting it in his eye because it was watering and made me feel stupid for not doing so. I finally just stopped the drops because it was breaking my heart that my son would get so upset. Turns out the Tobrex irritated his eye more than the plugged duct. OK Doctor, Terrible Staff. I agree with other reviewer. Dr Cooper's staff is terrible. They ignore you when you are standing at the front desk, and they treat you like you are bothering them when you try to make changes to your appointments. Dr. Cooper herself is pretty nice. A bit hyper though. My daughter likes her manic personality. I went to another pediatric ophthalmologist recommended to me, a Dr. Ornitz in San Mateo after I was treated poorly one last time by her staff. Great Doctor Dr. Cooper is an extremely friendly, but very professional doctor. I would highly recommend her office to anyone, young or old. I have been seen at the office for several years, and I have both of my children seeing her also. It is a very busy, but professionally run office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctor has several assistants and other doctors in her office.
Great Dr. Cooper has been great. My son loves her and so do I. She is super friendly and very thorough. I would recommend her to anyone! She performed surgery on my 3 year old son and I could not ask for a better, kinder or sweeter Dr.
