As a new patient it was difficult to book an office visit. There was a long wait time for the appointment. Front office booked with visit with optometrist when we were trying to see opthalmologist (we had been referred by our own optometrist). Then it took multiple requests to get an itemized receipt. They charged for a full eye exam when I stated the eye exam had already been done for the year and that was not the reason for the visit. Dr. Cooper herself is great; front office not so much.

great bedside manner with my son, insightful diagnosis, clear explanation of treatment options and reasons, Dr consulted on a medical emergency, are appointment was delayed, fault staff for not communicating the issue for the Dr.'s delay. Staff is friendly but needs to be more sensitive to patients needs especially if delays are involved, explain what is happening so patient is in the know and can adjust or reshedule.
I LOVE Dr. Cooper! She determined the issue with my son's eyes before the pediatrician ever thought there was a problem. She was able to get him the correct prescription with her prisms and as soon as he put on his glasses, he could see detail. He picked up a magnolia cone and stared at it and said, WOW! All he had ever done before was throw them. He was 2. He had eye surgery at 2.5. Fabulous outcome. I could go on and on. She always remembers my son amongst hundreds of patients. 3
Dr. Cooper is an outstanding Doctor, Surgeon and Human. I capitalize her title as human too because she cares about you and your child. She's funny, practical and a respected intellectual in her field. She has also earned the respect of many other medical professionals with whom she has crossed paths. Look no further, this is the doctor for you.
