I’ve heard people say that Dr. Davenport is a great doctor, and that may be true, but his practice is run horribly. The quick version of why I say this: The office phone system was inoperable about half the times I tried to call. The office staff forgot to call in the prescription for the prep. When the phone system was actually working, there was no way to speak to a human being. Leaving a voice mail message seemed to have no effect. They scheduled me an appointment 3 weeks prior to my surgery and DID NOT submit all of my insurance info properly or in time...!! I had used a PTO day that day as well as a family member coming from 3 hours away to insure I had a ride home after the procedure. After watiing in the surgery center wating room we were informed that my insurance had not been accepted yet...!!!? Then why schedule the appt FIRST.? The office staff at Dr. Davenport's is an absolute joke

My son has been vomiting for months. We were sent to Dr. Davenport. He immediately started tests that nobody else would. His last test/surgery didn’t give him the results he wanted, so he’s scheduled to dig into the gallbladder further. He explains everything very well and isn’t going to stop till he finds out why my son is vomiting 4 times a week. I finally feel like we are in good hands for the first time in months
