Staff is awesome, doc is great with my uncooperative little monster of a two year old.
Everyone was extremely nice and caring! Dr. Derek was awesome and friendly and listened to my son and explained everything to him ( he's a big question asker ) We were extremely pleased with both experiences! ( cleaning & had a cavity filled and a tooth pulled )
My 2 year old girl had a dental emergency. She had a very bad abscessed little tooth and Dr Derek and his staff saw her immediately and extracted her little tooth the same day and we were first time patients! My daughter was hardly uncomfortable and his staff was super sweet and amazing! we were in and out in about an hr. Could not be happier!! Thank you thank you so much!!!
Dr Derek and his staff are simply amazing. My kids loved them. My kids do not have a fear of the dentist but a sweet little girl who was there when we were was terrified. By terrified I mean screaming and kicking. They were so calm and kind and gentle with she and her parents. Just an incredible group of people perfectly suited to do their jobs!

We had an amazing experience at Cool Mountain Kidd! The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming! My son had a tooth that was bothering him, Dr. Derek and his staff listened to my sons concerns and were very patient with him. By the end of our appointment my kids didn't want to leave the office. I wish I would have had that kind of experience from my childhood dentist. Highest recommendation to Dr. Derek and everyone at Cool Mountain Kids!!!
I work with a foster and adoption agency. Dr. Derek has worked with a number of our families and their children - recently, he was able to get a new sibling group in together on short notice. On another occasion, he worked with a family and their adopted daughter who, previously, had a bad experience with a previous dental experience.
