I loved this place. Everything about it was far above average. The atmosphere was comfortable and clean The wait staff were very friendly and capable. But most of all I loved the food. The steak and coconut shrimp were soooo tasty, not just a little bit, but really excellent. I have had steak at a lot of nicer restaurants and would chose the steak at Cool Hand Luke's anytime. I thought I'd try this new to Madera restaurant. When I first walked in it looked nice and new enough. The booths are nice and roomy. The decor cabin-like. Our waiter Jon was nice enough. As I looked through the menu the first thing I noticed was the prices. Whow, a little on the high side. Almost no dinner under $15.
