The lady who cut my hair seemed to be rushing through everything. I initially told her to use a number 2 on the sides because the term “skin fade” didn’t come to mind at that moment. When I later clarified what I actually wanted, she raised her voice and said, “I’ve done what you told me, and now you want something different.” The entire conversation she had with me was really unpleasant, and I didn’t feel good at all throughout the experience. Tony has been a great consistent barber for a couple years now. Hair and beard always exactly how I'm looking for, and he remembers me face and how I want it everytime. Shop decor is unbeaten and music is always great. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for in the entire experience. Very fair and kind people. P.s. I went to Cook Street Barbershop on today and unfortunately had a very poor haircut experience. The barber used the same trimmer all the way up the sides, which created a sharp, uneven line that looks like a buzz cut — exactly what I said I didn’t want. She turned the chair so I couldn’t see what was happening, and when I asked for a small adjustment afterward, she seemed rushed and didn’t fix it properly. The best barbershop in town in my opinion. Classic and unpretentious. I’ve been getting consistently good haircuts from Rolf for years and always leave happy
I always visit the Cook Street Barbershop on Fridays; that's when Alexis is present and she gives me a great haircut, mustache trim and tidies up my eyebrows. We also have great conversations. Looking forward to my next visit.
