Dr cook has been helping me since knees injured in 1980s while active duty Army. He was my surgeon for both knee replacements. Excellent care, explains everything before & after surgery. Easy to reach even on call, if needed. Minimal to no wait at office visits since 2020. Great staff & surgical coordinator. Big thanks!
Dr Cook has perform both shoulder replacements, hip and knee. Completely happy with my outcome. Second knee replacement scheduled this month. I have complete confidence in Dr Cook's surgical skills and highly recommend him. He is very good at explaining and answering any questions I have.
Dr. William Cook is an excellent doctor and surgeon. I had a reverse shoulder replacement by him and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. He is caring and kind and he listens. I would highly recommend him for orthopedic issues and surgery.
Dr. Cook performed flawless total hip replacement surgery in Aug 2022 on my right hip. It was a successful surgery and I went home from Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on the same day. I was walking unassisted within a few days of the surgery and have total functional mobility. I’m living a new life free of joint pain that has been transformative. Dr. Cook is the standard of excellence in Orthapedics.
Each and every time i have to go see him i wait no less than an hour and a half. I am so glad i am done with him and i will never go back. My time is important also.
Dr Cook explained everything in great detail what he was going to do and what to expect. Great bed side manners.
After 2 years of pain and 3 doctors In ONE visit he diagnosed and got me out of pain. Anyone in prolonged pain will tell you. It takes a toll. I would take my grandmother to him.
Dr. Cook replaced my right knee 6 years ago and my left knee 9 weeks ago. He also did revision surgery on my partner's left knee 10 months ago. Each surgery resulted in a wonderful outcome. I have nothing but the highest respect for him as a surgeon and a caring individual. I have recommended him to several of my friends and will continue to do so. As far as I'm concerned there could no better orthopedist.
I was referred to Dr. Cook after breaking my arm. I waited for two hours before I was seen by him. His visit with me lasted less than five minutes. The worse part- I broke my LEFT arm and his nurse techs put a RIGHT arm brace on me, and Dr. Cook signed off on this.After an agonizing week of not knowing I was wearing a RIGHT arm brace, I called him to tell him what was wrong and how upset I was that this happened. He was not remorseful at all and incredibly rude.His error caused harm, not healing
