I never spent much time waiting during appointments. Dr. Cook and staff are quick to get you from waiting area to exam room and are in to see you right away. This is awesome and not something a lot of physicians prioritize. Dr. Cook also spent the time needed to explain all relevant information and answer all questions. The surgery went as expected and all follow-up care was thorough. In the unfortunate event that you need Dr. Cook's services, he is a great surgeon! All staff were also great!
Excellent experience! I scored a hat trick of hernias: one umbilical and two inguinal. Dr. Cook and Jori (despite the fact that he is a Ute fan) were both awesome. They clearly explained the probable causes of my condition and in great (and accurate) detail told me how the day of the surgery would go. They also took time to explain what to expect with recovery. So far, it's going just like they said it would. I liked the fact that they treated me as an individual and gave me any time I needed.
I was in the hospital over Christmas 2 yrs in a row. I had a huge hernia I went from a 47 inch was to a 34 inch. He also got rid of my MRSA that I had had for about 5 yrs. He saw me everyday I was in the hospital even on Christmas.

Dr. Cook was kind, knowledgable, and professional in his manner. The total surgery plan was explained prior to surgery as well as proper post op care.
Met with him for a few minutes before surgery, but worked with the Nurse Practitioner in the office. I have felt much better since the surgery. Unfortunately it took too many doctor visits, urgent care, emergency room visits to get some help. Thank you for listening to me and helping me and not telling me there is nothing wrong as I had been told in all my previous visits to the medical offices. I appreciate it.
Best Dr. I have ever had. Takes time, fantastic follow-up. Truly made me feel like he has my best interest as a priority. The result of his surgery was perfect!
Dr. Cook is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered in my 67 years of life. He helped me survive a perforated colon without the expected colostomy. Recently he operated on me again and performed a double mastectomy. Both times I was so impressed by his compassionate caring and his incredible skill. He's very tuned in to the patient. He's attentive before and after surgery. He's very well respected by the nurses and other doctors as well as his patients. He's absolutely amazing.
This is a very friendly office. They remember you by name. Wait time is very little. Great place.
