Additionally, we offer grief counseling one on one and in groups; training on suicide prevention, coping with loss, and other topics; early childhood development program referrals; and are the entry point to countywide homeless and housing program.

These people focus on a specific demographic. What services they offer remain unclear. "Counselors" focus on collecting information that can be used to target people in need who contact them. I recommend avoiding these people.

Very discouraging to me. Blatantly hostile to elders. I am sorry I contacted these cruel people.

This is not a drop in facility. The center is part of 211 United Way community resources for low income residents in Contra Costa. They are also part of the 988 lifeline crisis and suicide prevention network for emotional support. Both are available 24/7. No in person services other than grief support groups are available at the center.
