They do not communicate with their patients
Dr. Schlachner as well as the rest of the staff and doctors are absolutely amazing. She truly cares and treats her patients with kindness and compassion. If I have to get cut open I’m glad it’ll be her doing it!
I was recently seen by Dr Schlachter for an impressive laceration just under my eyelid. I informed the doctor of my inherent fear of needles especially when they are that close to my eye. She reassured me that everything would be okay and proceeded. She was very concerned about my comfort level even requesting the assisting staff member to hold the drape up higher so my heart rate would not be elevated due to carbon dioxide build up causing more anxiety.
