Gun shots can be heard at night. No one in the office ever answers the phone. Computer room and coffee lounge are totally off limits. Not able to get mail in mailbox. Bathroom faucets often drip. Ceiling light in kitchen often doesn't turn at first.
I woke up to a call in mid March, weeks after the winter storm, telling me that water damage had made my apartment/building "unliveable". They gave me the ultimatum of "move into another building in the complex or find a new place to stay." The former was within the bounds of their power under my lease agreement, but I was never offered assistance to move my belongings to my new residence by Connection staff (as the lease requires of Connection) -- but this is the least of my worries. The comments below tells you everything that you need to know. Poor management, roach and bedbugs infestations issues, gun shots, crime, fragile stuff that breaks easily like toilet paper holders, shower curtain rods, towel racks, broken dishwashers, I can go on forever…… But even if you are trying to save money it’s not worth it………
This apartment complex takes advantage of renters with their Conservice (emphasis on the word con) utility payment process. Renters are charged excess of their utility usage and Connection Apartments does not provide a bill from the city for the utility charges. All utility charges are whatever Conservice says they are and Connection Apartments does little to nothing to assist the Tennant.
