I saw Dr Fernini for years for leg/ ankle swelling. He told me I had venous insufficiency and that surgery would reduce the pain and swelling. It didn’t. It got worse. I went back to him asking for help because the pain and swelling was getting worse. He told me I was fat. I’m not. He “ YELLED “ at me told me if I were to cry he’d walk out. I cried. He walked out. Dr. Ferneini is my mother's vascular doctor. It was her first time going. She has vascular issues in her legs. Dr. Ferneini was kind, respectful, funny and was wonderful with my mom. All doctors should be like Dr. Ferneini.
Dr. Ferneini was physically waiting at my home to greet me when I was discharged from Midstate following surgery. A highly skilled and compassionate surgeon like no other.
