Dan runs a very good company. He just finished removing an extremely large tree from my yard at a reasonable price. Other companies wouldn't touch it. I highly recommend him.
Dan Stokes is a liar, cheat and con artist! Not only did he give us a VERBAL quote to remove a dead tree at $2600 but then jacked the price up to nearly double the price when the job was done! HE NEVER GAVE US A WRITTEN QUOTE! BIG MISTAKE! He then came to our property, hacked with their saws 2 other healthy trees .....we DID NOT ask him to cut.... and caused almost $5000 worth of damage. Dan S***** provided major tree branch trimming service for me at my house along the water in East Haven. He visited twice to consult and then to do the work. He was consistently very professional, easy to talk with and clearly a highly experienced and educated certified arborist with concern for the aesthetics and health of the tree while taking care of the issue the tree branches presented.
