The wait in the emergency room, 100% unacceptable. We were ignored, or even forgotten about. On top of that, we were denied a strep test when requested, and lo and behold my daughter has strep!!!!!

I always love the staff. My 10 year old daughter is here often and every time we are treated respectfully and compassionately. I've come to know quite a few of the staff and they always put my daughter's care and comfort first. I know it's their job to care for my daughter but it seems to me that it's more than a job to them and they truly care.

My 14 yr old daughter has been having problems with constipation all her life... All the drs through out her life would pretty much useless... We took her to the ER many times and they offered absolutely NO help at all... She was in so much pain it got to the point where she wasnt eating or sleeping and couldnt sit still... No matter how much i begged no one ould even give her an xray or anything.... She was totally embarrassed with her condition..... THEN we finally met Dr. Hiedi Sweeney with CCMC.... CCMC's willingness to pump children full of narcotics is concerning. After an all-night visit, we accomplished an unremarkable x-ray and still lacked a diagnosis. The suggested solution: administer OxyCodone on site and send an Rx home for more. I questioned the staff member, 'Isn't that a little excessive?' Her reply, 'We give OxyCodone to children all the time.' Wow! I'm not comfortable with that approach at all. I immediately took my daughter out of there.
