UPDATE, September 2021: My child has "graduated" from therapy now, & I would have absolutely no qualms about recommending Lauren Ferguson & Conifer Play Therapy to anyone. Even during the pandemic, Lauren was able to make & keep appointments with my child & help them to remember the tools she taught them to navigate life in this "new" world. Lauren is amazing with children! She's knowledgeable, professional, and a miracle worker in my book. Lauren has taught me invaluable resiliency tools that my child and I will carry for the rest of our lives. I have tremendous gratitude for everything she's done for us.
Lauren is a warm, ethical and knowledgeable professional who genuinely cares for her young clients and their families. She is well known and thought of in this community and has been a been resource for both children and other professionals. She is invested in increasing mental health resources in the community and does not hesitate to get involved to help out. I cannot recommend her highly enough and in fact, I do refer folks to her frequently.
Lauren Ferguson's Facebook profile is a statement "Empowered Women Empower Women", while I ABSOLUTELY love this statement, it seems more than ironic she refuses to provide simple summaries of a small childs visits to a father. I cannot under any circumstances recommend you bring a child to a therapist that won't share how the child is doing. Furthermore, nearly NONE of the outlines of services on web page have actually happened. NO UPDATES, NO HOME ASSIGNMENTS, NOTHING.
Lauren really helps kids.
