I went to Conemaugh ER 02/16 for chest pains as recommended by My cardiologist. Waited 9 hours in ER and “provisionally” admitted per their explanation. Following day I was given echocardiogram and they indicated I needed a heart catheterization. While being prepped a person claiming to be the doctor about to perform the procedure. He was rude, arrogant condescending and totally disrespectful. I told my wife he was Dr death, not knowing how true that was. The worst patient service especially the nurse's line, no one answer and they put you on hold for more than 20 minutes until you gave up and hang up the phone .
I called to set up a new patient appointment. Granted I called 15 minutes before they closed but it was the only time my schedule opened that I could. I do scheduling for a living so I get how frustrating it can be for a last minute call but this woman put me on hold and never came back. I am so disappointed because I wanted to give conemaugh another chance and seeing their doc's. But if your going to treat potential patients that way than I'm sorry I will go else we're.
Went there for Echo. Easy registration. Comfortable test surroundings and a pleasant technician.
