Not sure what the problem is at this clinic with medications I am an emergency room registered nurse. I went to this facility today, referred by my insurance company following an injury at work. The PA did not examine me, she said :What medication do you want?" I told her I was in alot of pain, currently taking motrin. Dr Helen Fisher profiles patients I have never experienced being profiled as a drug addict prior to this experience. I travel 80% of the time, showed up in a suite while visiting other healthcare facilities for work, and was in a jam. Secure Medical Care people were Incompetent We went to Secure Medical care in Gaithersburg to get a vaccine administered after confirming with them on phone. After almost an hour long wait we were told that they cannot provide service. The folks there were the most unfriendliest and incompetent.
Wonderful service, quick care, relatively inexpensive My husband and I went to the Gaithersburg Secure Medical Care office because neither of us could get appointments with our primary care physicians that day, despite the fact we were both desperately ill. We walked in, spoke to some very friendly receptionists, and were seen almost immediately. They gave my husband a chest x-ray on the spot and did the fastest bloodwork turnaround I've ever seen before diagnosing him with early pneumonia and me with an acute sinus infectio... read more
Great office I have been to both the Beltsville and Gaithersburg office. I have been there with my daughter as an emergency patient and on other occasions with an appointment. My experiences with the doctors ( Dr. Moody and others) have always been excellent. The doctors are excellent and caring . I find the staff far more competent that most other doctor's offices. I will continue to go back and recommend Secure Medical Care to everyone I know.
Great experience. My son cut his hand on a Saturday and I went to the Gaithersburg center. They were great. I don't have health insurance, but their prices were reasonable. Everyone was friendly and professional. The doctor was GREAT!!!
Secure Medical Care is Excellent! Excellent care! Secure Medical Care was recommended to my wife by a friend several years ago. I have been there several times with my wife, kids and even my 98 y/o grandmother. The care has always been great. Everyone has always been friendly and efficient. I've noticed that my family doctor has started recommending Secure Medical Care to his patients, when he is unavailable.
Excellent for urgent care I have been to other urgent care facilities, and SMC is the best. It may be expensive if they do not work with your health care provider, but if you are without insurance like me, this facility has excellent prices and usually quick and friendly service! Try to avoid weekends or weekdays around 6pm, as they become busy.
Secure Medical Care = Good Medical Care Superb Doctor Liss cured me when I was not well. He is also cute. ________________________ It's a corny Haiku, but it's true.
