Great Care I've been to secure twice, once with my son for an ear infection over a decade ago (he's in college now) and once recently for my finger injury. Both times I saw Dr. Liss. He is great. The staff is incredible. I felt very comfortable coming into the place, and I hate going to the doctor or dentist. Reading the reviews on this site is pretty amusing. The negative reviews all seem to be from people who didn't get their oxycontin...I guess it's not a great place for the Rush Limbaughs of the world.
Best place when Your primary doc can't see you I've been a secure care customers for many years. They have days where waits are around 10 mins and other days when the waits can be over an hour. All in all it beats going to the ER. I just learned to call ahead to ask how long the wait is. Recently, I needed to get a yellow fever vaccine for traveling and got it taken care of there too.
Great Care! I'm a nurse, so I'm motivated to write this review since I feel like I have a unique perspective on medical facilities. I've been to both the Gaithersburg and the College Park clinics. I've always received great care, both with and without insurance. The staff and doctors are so Great! I never told them that I am a nurse, but they still treat me wonderfully. The staff has always made me feel comfortable and although in general I don't like doctors, the physicians have been friendly, caring, and thorough.
HOW CAN DR.'S GET AWAY WITH TREATING PATIENTS SO HORRIBLY?! I can not believe Dr.'s get away with treating poor ol patients so bad!-I wanted to vomit from the way I was treated! Do not go to this facility! I must say that when I read all these bad experiences/reviews before going, I was curious if they had the wrong place! Excellent clinic! No wait, clean office, great staff. I have been to both Secure Medical locations (Gaithersburg and Beltsville) and I have never waited more then 15 minutes to see a doctor. My most recent visit was on a holiday and it was so convenient that they were open because I couldn't find any other urgent care clinics that were. I will never go there again They just rip you off. They have bad service. They are there just to earn money. They want you do accept doing several tests and examinations, which is good, but they want them all done with them, so that they can charge you very high. I have seen other people coming there to fight back who were claiming they provided wrong information. I just do not trust them.
Excellent Health Care, Extremely Professional and Fast I took my daughter here for travel vaccines before she went on a Global Education trip for her school. Our pediatrician did not carry the required vaccines and we were referred to SecureMedicalCare. We found the service, staff and doctor to be both professional and excellent!! Great Care and Terrific Staff I recently visited the Gaithersburg Office and had a great experience. The Doctor examined me and listened to all my ailments. The staff I interacted with were both very professional and very kind. I was even able pick up my antibiotic and a medicated cough medicine without having to step foot in a local CVS. All in a single trip to see a Doctor.
Not Given strong enough Antibiotic!! Went in for my girlfrend's infected dog bite, doctor did not look me in the eye as i asked her 2 questions of concern. Next day she had to go to a hospital after not feeling any better where she was told the antibiotic they gave her wasnt strong enough to take care of the infection. Western Medicine...smh.
