History Established in 1983. John Compton and his family opened in May of 1983. In February of 2016 John retired at the age of 84. Two of John's daughters and one son in law partnered up and bought the business. Meet the Business Owner william M. Business Owner Bill started working at Compton's at the age of 12 as a dishwasher. After 20+ years of doing different jobs at the restaurant he was given the chance to be one of the partners to buy the business. He still works there hands on as one of the main cooks.
