As a veteran who would rather (and has) switch his psychiatrist back to the Department of Veterans Affairs...you know that this will be a bad review. Especially since Ive been dragged through some pretty bad situations with them. My first professional had the credentials but lacked any of the professionalism. Dr. Alfafaro is very nice and good.
Dr Michas is the best! I've been seeing him for years. I have chronic disorders, which I've dealt with most of my life. So, it's old news. He doesn't give me a bunch of nonsense tactics like a lot of therapists do. He's super understanding, empathetic, and patient. But he also gets to the point. If you've had a lot of therapists like me it's a breath of fresh air.
The psychiatrist Atef Shaikh, D.O. threatened me, bullied me, sent my accompaniers out of the room while causing so much stress to me my hands were shaking. He demonstrated absolutely zero care for my health and I can't understand how anyone could act this way unless they had some preexisting biases or hatred. I wish I could bleach Atef Shaikh and the memory of coming here out of my brain. I have been irreparably traumatized by the negligence and utter incompetence demonstrated here and wish upon no one this treatment I paid... read more
