I guess she only cares about surgeries, came in with obvious signs of mastitis. Terhar looked at me without a care in the world, answered “I don’t know” about my symptoms and told me unsymmetry was common and, with a sly grin, said that she knew a good plastic surgeon(because I told her one was swollen compared to the other.) Unfortunately, our experience at this oncology clinic was very disappointing. At a place where compassion and sensitivity are so important, especially when dealing with ill patients. Nurse Practitioner Biggs showed a surprising lack of empathy. When I asked a simple and reasonable question about her order, she seemed visibly offended, as if questioning or seeking clarity was a challenge to her authority. I have been trying to schedule with them since March...I had to chase after them to schedule and have been forced to reschedule twice by the office. I am currently pregnant and this is placing myself and my baby at risk. I cant understand why this place is so unprofessional. I understand Drs are humans too, but yall should have emergency appointments for situations like mine. Youve forced me to seek another hematologist out of fear for my health and my baby. Unacceptable.

My provider referred me to a Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada location on the west side of town, but after multiple attempts, they never answered their phone. Since I reside close to this Wigwam location, I decided to visit in person with my referral to inquire about the next steps. Upon arrival, I was told they couldn't schedule me immediately but would take my information and call me back within 48-72 hours.
