Since my gums have pockets, is it prudent to treat the affected areas a little more aggressively? In the past, dentist have infused any such areas, after cleaning, with either an astringent (?) or an antibiotic and the problem would then be resolved by the next visit.
Dr. kirsch is an excellent dentist. We have been going here for years and I highly recommend him.

I have always had great visits to Dr. Ed Kirsch's offices. His staff are always pleasant and welcoming. The Dental Hygienist is the kindest, gentlest technician and always helpful about better personal dental care. Dr. Kirsch is also always gentle and explains everything he is doing and what it means for the patient. Despite not liking the dentist, I have to admit that I have always received fantastic care and don't mind going in the end!!
