Vanessa was beyond amazing. I don't have the words to describe how much she helped us through this journey. Our family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Compassus Hospice - South Austin for their compassionate care, professionalism and support during our journey. Especially to Vanessa Clark and Vanessa Solano, whose expertise and genuine kindness are beyond measure. They made a very difficult transition peaceful and comfortable, and we never felt alone.
Our family deeply regrets choosing this hospice provider. From day one, communication has been poor and disorganized. Instead of helping us navigate an already difficult time, we were repeatedly told, “That’s not us,” or, “That’s another company,” whenever we had questions about the medical equipment. As the hospice coordinating our loved one’s care, we expected them to help resolve issues—not continually shift responsibility elsewhere.
