I have had the great pleasure and blessing to volunteer with compassion as well as sponsor a child. My heart has been so touched by the work they do. Until you have seen it, you can not know the incredible change in the lives of the children touched by compassion. I can't wait to have an opportunity to work with them again.
I had been working in a Compassion assisted project for 7 years as Project Coordinator. Compassion does an outstanding work in the grass root level. I often think that the sponsors, the wonderful people behind the success of Compassion, may not be realizing even a percentage of the great works happening because of them. I was privileged to see the changes in kids on a daily basis and that was the best season in my life so far. I had a tribal project and if Compassion's support wasn't there, many suicides would have happened.... read more
