This is a good organization in what they do for kids and I had been a sponsor for over 7 years and enjoyed it. However in the past year and a half there have been mistakes made like getting letters sent to me from children I don't sponsor even one telling me of the death of a child I did not sponsor. I was no t told when a couple of kids went off my sponsorships rolls and now I am in a nursing home and had called and asked Compassion to cancel all my sponsorships and correspondent sponsorships including my son's. I'm very disappointed. I have not heard back from my child. I'm beginning to think this is a fraud n I'm going to stop my contributions if something doesn't change.
I love this international help for children in poverty, I'am happy to work with them since 2003,in Rwanda, Christine

What an amazing experience for children! Many parents try to teach their children about compassion and walking in someone else's shoes. This made it more real for our children and helped them reflect and be motivated to be of service.
