Compassion is a wonderful organization! They help many children in so many ways, but especially by giving us the opportunity to be in the children's lives in a way that we can participate through our prayers and letters.
I used to work as a project manager in a compassion sponsored project in Bihar for the last 10 years. Unfortunately compassion closed working in Bihar and presently I am jobless. But I had the satisfaction of working with the children and community in the grassroot level.and I had a memorable 10 years.
I'm very angry with Compassion . They did not tell me that there was an issue with the center where I was sponsoring my girl and they shut it down with no notification and removed her from my account. I can't even send a final letter. That's a very horrible way to treat their sponsors
Compassion International connected me with a little boy in Peru. When I started sponsoring him, I thought I would be blessing him by helping with his basic needs and education. It turned out to be so much better than that. My sponsored child has blessed me beyond my wildest imagination. Best of all, we can share Christ Jesus with one another. He is growing strong physically, mentally, and spiritually. Going on nine years of blessing and being blessed by this child.
