I am so impressed with Compassion. We sponsored a child in Rwanda last month. All our investigation of Compassion, outside the organization reinforced our hearts that the Lord truly sent us our child to sponsor.
I believe that Compassion International is the best charity to donate to in order to help starving children in Third World countries because not only do they feed the children, they also protect them from abuse and teach them about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!
Compassion was my turning point in childhood. compassion supported me very much in accepting Christ. and also the continued support from my sponsor- I was in project KE-423 in kibera church of God. I love Compassion International! I've wanted to do missions for years, and sponsoring a child is a way to begin sharing the love of Christ with those in need from home! You can even send gifts and such to kids you aren't "sponsoring." I love being a part of something so big and so important. I continue to pray for Compassion and for what they're doing.
I loved compassion International because it saved my life when I was a little orphan and am now a grown up mama, with God's spirit in me. But am missing some one who was my sponsor in Africa , Uganda her name was lisa mccollum, I wish I knew her life now to thank God. She was my sponsor since 1989-1994 when we went back to our homeland. I lost her adresses. Thanks
