I came here because I was meeting my friend Tachini Pete and he knew someone who owns or manages this place. I had the mixed plate with a variety of delicious items. I was not disappointed in the least!!

We had the pleasure of meeting the new chef earlier this week. When ever I am back to DC, I will definitely be making it a point to get here! We had the Peruvian duck hearts (cooked perfectly and recommend pairing lambrusco rose) His special, aged beef tskune , had me captivated.
While I was visiting Washington I Searched Georgian restaurant in DC and ''Compass Rose'' came up and decided to visit to try some Georgian food. Waiter Told me they have Only one Georgian dish called ''Khachapuri'' (So, Def its not Georgian) Then I ordered that Only one dish they had and was disappointed. So many places in DC don't know they can be great AND gracious. Compass rose has it all--delicious, inventive food, fabulous drinks and decor, and a really nice staff who not only knows what they're doing but also do it with grace. Took me too long to find you, but I will be back with friends in tow!
