I find it unacceptable that my friend’s case was closed without providing one month’s worth of prescriptions and providing him with a referral to a community provider. And the case was closed a few days prior to him running out of needed medications including Lithium which I believe is a med that needs to be tapered off versus going cold turkey. I am also frustrated that the patient was blamed for not being recently seen when the provider’s next availability was April when scheduled at the end of January. And this resulted i... read more

recently CMH has announced the layoff of many transitions and skill-building personnel. people who have been there many years and Care greatly about their constituency, the manner in which this was achieved was not exactly Fair, transparent, or equitable. government mandates did not dictate the complete destruction of all transitions programs, the effects of this action will be felt within the client base for many years to come.

I recently called inquiring about developmental disability services for my son who is nonverbal with sensory concerns. And, for some reason, I was lied to. I was told that those types of services begin at age 5. Since then, I've done some further research and learned that simply is not true. It's really quite disappointing as I am just trying to find the best ways to help my son. We're just beginning our journey and need a little guidance as to what services are available to us.

This place was recommended by my therapist who was retiring, got appointments/set up with 2 different people. in order for them to manage my medication they said I had to give up my primary care doctor of 7 years in order to get medication management from them..... do you know what it feels like trying to come off of Cymbalta that Dr. Mack increased from 60mg to 120mg daily. I was told pretty much because I was functioning with a home and car I didn't qualify for services.
