The nurses are great but they are understaffed. It is a cozy, clean environment. The problems lie with the outside venders. TV People need to be re-educated..tvs dont work properly and in some patient hospitality rooms are totally broken. Vending machine people need to fix machines and do their jobs properly as machine takes your money without you getting your purchase. Otherwise I give this hsptl a 5 *****star rating.
I had to make a trip to the emergency room recently with bad back pain. Once they got me registered and put into a bed in the emergency room I was given an iv drip for pain medication. A few minutes later a girl comes over to me with billin hand asking me if I could make payment then there and now for my visit. I couldn't believe it. I'm laying there in bed in pain and she comes over with the bill asking for payment. I told her I found this to be a little ridiculous and she told me that is hospital policy. I had a scheduled endoscopy yesterday in the same day surgery unit yesterday. It's hard to find my veins because I have loss of pigment due to eczema. The nurse was going to put my IV in my hand. Another nurse came along and shove the IV into my wrist causing the vein to collapse and sending me into full-blown crying screaming panic because I never felt anything like that in my life. Very happy with the care I got for headache/high blood pressure. Doctor and nurses were professional and caring. Spent overnight in observation room and was weii cared for. Thank you!
